The post was about describing the 2050 net-zero framework, not making a judgement about what the ultimate end goal should be. Its a difficult problem involving international cooperation, so I'll take progress to that goal where I can get it.

We also must accept some warming at this point and adapt, because going net-zero by 2030 would be incredibly disruptive and the impacts would be felt most dramatically in developing countries.
