Nothingness as we understand it, meaning the absence of anything I don't even think is even a valid concept. Our existence implies that the existence of nothing is just an abstraction that has its roots in language.

Our understanding in physics now is that particles emerge spontaneously from "empty" space. So, something does come from nothing on the surface, but that nothing is not really "nothing". And now my brain hurts......
